Cognitive behavioral therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a scientifically recognized, effective psychotherapy method and the basis of my therapeutic work.

It combines different treatment methods and psychotherapeutic theories.

There are two basic assumptions :

1. Behavior, both positive and negative, is learned during life. What has been learned can be relearned, unlearned or modified.

2. Feelings, thoughts and behavior influence each other. For example if our feelings change, our thoughts and behavior also change.

Actually quite simple.

But what if we are not feeling well? If our thoughts influence our feelings and behavior in a negative way? Or what if a behavior we once needed in a useful way is no longer useful and maybe causes problems?

This is where therapy starts.

Together we will examine the processes mentioned above and try to learn new things so you can cope with your daily life again.
